Hello Everyone! My name is Ian Feather and I am the SHS School Counselor for students with last names beginning with letters L-Q.
This is my sixth year working in education. Throughout the first five years of my career, I had the privilege of teaching Career & Technical education at the secondary level. One of the aspects I enjoyed most was the relationships I had the opportunity to form with my students. This ultimately led to my pursuit of school counseling. I’m passionate about helping students to be the best versions of themselves. I’m excited to be an advocate for Sheridan High School students in the areas of academics, career planning, and social/emotional learning.
I’m proud to say that I am a Wyoming native, born and raised in Worland Wyoming. For my wife and I, Sheridan has always been our dream destination. We enjoy the community and all the outdoor activities the area has to offer.
Outside of work, I enjoy mountain biking, golfing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, wood working, archery shed hunting, and traveling with my wife and dog Koa (goldendoodle).
I’m grateful to be here and I’m excited to be working with you this school year.
