College Connection Center

The SHS College Connection Center (CCC) assists Sheridan students and their families to plan post-secondary education by providing information about academic opportunities, planning strategies, and financial aid resources. The CCC is open in B108 every school day from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., or by appointment. Please do not hesitate to contact our office for any questions to assist you or your student.

Students face obstacles and challenges throughout their lives. As a school counselor, we will act as an advocate for students to equip them with the tools they need in order to excel and to deal with life’s obstacles. We offer a comprehensive counseling program, which includes the domains of personal/social, academic and career development, as outlined by the American School Counselor Association (ASCA). The delivery of our counseling services is carried out in the form of individual sessions, group counseling, classroom guidance and individual planning. If a student is in need of extensive counseling, we will refer them to other reputable agencies. We will collaborate with stakeholders to help students reach their potential.
